that time. So come on out to the country and visit us. Bring your whole family for a wonderful experience.
The building that we use was the Old North Vernon Methodist
Church it was built in 1863. Our family welcomes you Pochuck Valley Farms. My father, Harry Vance has worked on this
farm since he was 14. Shortly after that my parents bought the business. They have owned and operated ever since. My name
is Michelle I sell Tupperware and Avon in the store along with doing all of the sales and marketing. My sister, Diana is the
Baker and manager of the store and we run the store with my Mom, Barbara. My father, (Harry) and my brother-in-law,(Leon)
run the farm. One of us opens the store every morning at 5 a.m. and the locals are there shortly after. Later
on in the morning like clockwork guys come in and hang around the table and have their coffee and tell stories. It starts
around 7 a.m. and you can practically guess who's going to walk through the door next. If you remember the show Cheers it
happens here everyday. Only we don't sell beer we have everything else. We have the local hang out. Once you become a regular
everybody knows your name, and you get treated like you are at home.
Most of our customers are in everyday like
clockwork and you know if there late and what there having its great. It's like the old times Glenwood style. This year our farm has been
open 100 years 1912 to 2012
